"Pipalla" is the Sanskrit name for a variant of the scared fig tree that grows both in India and China. It was believed that the Gods resided on the leaves of these trees and were responsible for the movement of the leaves. These earrings are crafted from sterling silver, etched and engraved with leaf designs for added texture and plated with 22K gold.
The 'Pipalla' earrings are a part of our "Bosque Encatado" collection, which literally translates to enchanted forest in Spanish. In literature, an enchanted forest represents works of fantasy, places of magical refuge and mythical creatures. Most of our creations are focused on flowers, leaves and foliage crafted from gold plated sterling silver representing enchantment and the ancientness of the world.
